  71% Roseau County High School Students believe parents should communicate the importance of not using alcohol and other drugs.

 

  47% of Roseau County High School Students report that their parents have discussed family rules about alcohol and drugs with them.

Most Warroad and Roseau  parents of 7-12 graders:

DO NOT allow their child to drink alcohol.

AGREE that parents should not let their children drink alcohol at home.

HAVE discussed family rules about alcohol with their child.

DO NOT know the penalty for providing alcohol to a minor child that is not their own.
(The act of furnishing alcohol to a minor child that is not your own is a Gross Misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year in jail and up to $3,000 fine.  MN Statute 340A.503)
